1, 2 and 3 Bedroom Static Caravans for Sale Off Site
Browse 1, 2 and 3 bedroom used static caravans for sale off site at SBL Caravan Centre, with a wide choice of layouts available for private land, self-build projects, farms, temporary accommodation and other off-site uses.
Choosing the right number of bedrooms is one of the most important parts of buying a used static caravan. A 1 bedroom model may suit one or two people, a home office or a compact living space. A 2 bedroom caravan gives extra flexibility for couples, small families or buyers who need storage as well as sleeping space. A 3 bedroom static caravan is often chosen by families, larger households, farm users and anyone who needs more room for guests, staff or longer term temporary accommodation.
Stock changes regularly across our Devon sales centre and Somerset sales centre, so availability will depend on what has recently arrived. If you cannot see the right layout today, speak to the team, as used static caravans arrive throughout the year.
Choosing the Right Bedroom Layout
The best bedroom layout depends on how you plan to use the caravan, how many people will stay in it and how much space you need day to day. Price, condition, age, heating, double glazing, width, access and delivery requirements should all be considered before choosing a model.
For some buyers, the priority is affordable temporary accommodation during a building project. Others need a caravan for private land, farm use, staff accommodation, a site office or occasional holiday use. The right choice is the caravan that gives you enough sleeping space, storage and living area without making access, transport or siting more difficult than necessary.

1 Bedroom Static Caravans for Sale
1 bedroom static caravans are popular with buyers who only need one main sleeping area but still want the comfort of a proper lounge, kitchen and bathroom. They can suit couples, single occupants, home office use, garden accommodation, temporary project accommodation or buyers with a more limited amount of space available.
A 1 bedroom caravan may also be worth considering if access to the site is more restricted, although the overall length and width still need to be checked carefully. Some 1 bedroom models may include double glazing, central heating or other useful features, depending on current stock.
These caravans can sell quickly because supply is often more limited than 2 and 3 bedroom models. If you are looking specifically for a 1 bedroom used static caravan, it is worth checking current availability regularly or contacting the sales team with your requirements.
2 Bedroom Static Caravans for Sale
2 bedroom static caravans are one of the most flexible choices for off-site use. They often work well for couples who want a spare room, small families, self-build accommodation, private land, farms, equestrian yards and temporary living space.
Most 2 bedroom models include one main bedroom and a second bedroom with twin beds, although layouts can vary between manufacturers and models. The second bedroom can be useful for children, guests, storage or work-related use, depending on how you plan to use the caravan.
A 2 bedroom used static caravan can offer a good balance between living space, sleeping space, price and ease of siting. Buyers should compare the condition, year, size, heating, double glazing, kitchen layout, bathroom layout and overall specification before deciding which model offers the best value.
3 Bedroom Static Caravans for Sale
3 bedroom static caravans are a strong choice for larger families, shared temporary accommodation, farm workers, staff accommodation and buyers who want extra rooms for guests, storage or flexible use.
A typical 3 bedroom static caravan has one main bedroom and two twin bedrooms, although exact layouts vary. This gives more sleeping space than a 2 bedroom model and can be especially useful if the caravan will be used for longer periods, by several people or as temporary accommodation during a self-build or renovation project.
3 bedroom caravans can also be a practical choice for buyers who want extra room without moving into larger lodge-style accommodation. When comparing models, check the bedroom sizes, storage, lounge space, kitchen layout, heating, insulation, double glazing and overall condition.

Buying a Static Caravan for Off-Site Use
All caravans on this page are intended for off-site sale. This means they can be suitable for private land, self-build projects, farms, smallholdings, temporary accommodation, work sites and other practical uses, subject to the right access, siting and permissions.
Before buying, think carefully about where the caravan will be placed and how it will be delivered. Access is especially important for larger models, including many 3 bedroom caravans. Road width, gateways, turning space, trees, overhead cables, ground conditions and the final siting position can all affect whether a caravan is suitable for your location.
For more practical guidance, read our delivery and siting information before choosing a model.
What to Check Before Choosing a Caravan
When comparing 1, 2 and 3 bedroom static caravans, look beyond the number of bedrooms. Two caravans with the same bedroom count can feel very different inside, depending on their size, layout and condition.
Important things to check include:
-
Overall length and width
-
Number and size of bedrooms
-
Lounge and dining space
-
Kitchen layout
-
Bathroom layout
-
Storage space
-
Heating and insulation
-
Double glazing
-
Central heating
-
Condition of floors, walls, doors and windows
-
Appliance condition
-
Access requirements
-
Delivery and siting requirements
-
Warranty position
-
Suitability for your intended use
If you are buying for private land, you should also check any relevant planning requirements before purchase. Our planning permission guide gives general information, but responsibility for planning checks sits with the buyer or landowner.
Viewing 1, 2 and 3 Bedroom Static Caravans
Viewing in person is the best way to compare layouts. Photos can show the general condition, but walking through the caravan helps you judge bedroom size, storage, lounge space, natural light and whether the layout will work for your use.
When viewing, think about who will use the caravan, how often it will be used and whether you need extra room for children, guests, tools, equipment, office work or storage. A 1 bedroom model may be enough for short-term use, while a 2 or 3 bedroom caravan may be more practical if you need flexibility.
