Used Static Caravans for Sale by Price
Browse used static caravans for sale by price at SBL Caravan Centre, with stock displayed from low to high to help you compare current models by budget. This page is ideal if you want to see what is available across different price ranges, from lower cost caravans through to newer, larger and higher specification options.
Buying by price is a useful way to narrow your search, but it is still important to compare condition, age, size, layout, heating, double glazing, delivery access and suitability for your intended use. A lower priced caravan may be perfect for a short-term project, while a higher priced model may offer more comfort, better specification or fewer improvements to make before use.
Stock changes regularly across our Devon sales centre and Somerset sales centre, so prices and availability will vary depending on what has recently arrived.
Compare Used Static Caravans by Budget
Used static caravans can vary significantly in price. The age, condition, manufacturer, size, layout and specification all affect value, as do features such as double glazing, central heating, modern interiors, en-suite facilities and overall presentation.
This page helps you compare current stock from the lowest priced models upwards. If you already have a fixed budget, it can help you quickly see which caravans are available. If you are still deciding how much to spend, it can help you understand the difference between lower cost, mid-range and higher specification options.
Lower Priced Static Caravans
Lower priced used static caravans can be a practical choice for buyers who need affordable accommodation, extra space or a unit for private land, farms, self-build projects, temporary accommodation, storage support or work sites.
These models are often older and may show more signs of previous use, but they can still be very useful when the priority is budget, availability and practicality. Buyers should check condition carefully and think about how much comfort, heating, storage and living space they need.

Mid-Range Used Static Caravans
Mid-range used static caravans often give buyers a strong balance between price, condition and comfort. These caravans may be newer than the lowest priced models, with better interiors, improved layouts or useful features such as double glazing and central heating.
This price range can work well for self-build accommodation, private land, farms, staff accommodation, family use and longer temporary stays. Buyers often choose a mid-range caravan when they want better comfort than a basic older model but do not need a premium or luxury static caravan.
Higher Specification Used Static Caravans
Higher priced used static caravans may offer newer interiors, wider layouts, improved heating, double glazing, larger kitchens, better bathrooms, more storage and a more modern feel. These caravans can suit buyers who expect to use the unit regularly or need a more comfortable living space.
A higher specification caravan may also be a better choice if you are buying for a longer self-build project, regular private land use, family accommodation or a rural site where comfort matters.
If you are looking for larger or more premium models, view our luxury and large used static caravans page.
What Affects the Price of a Used Static Caravan?
Two caravans can be the same size but very different in value. Price is affected by the age of the caravan, its condition, the manufacturer, layout, specification and how much preparation may be needed before use.
Important factors include:
-
Year of manufacture
-
Overall length and width
-
Number of bedrooms
-
General condition
-
Double glazing
-
Central heating
-
Kitchen and bathroom condition
-
Appliance condition
-
Interior finish
-
Exterior condition
-
Chassis condition
-
Whether any work is needed
-
Suitability for transport and siting
-
Current demand for that type of caravan
A cheaper caravan is not always the best value if it needs more work or does not suit your intended use. A slightly higher budget can sometimes give you a better layout, improved comfort or a caravan that is easier to use from day one.
Buying for Private Land, Self-Builds and Temporary Accommodation
Many buyers use this page to compare static caravans for private land, self-build projects, farms, smallholdings, rural sites, temporary accommodation and work-related use.
Before choosing a caravan, think about:
-
How many people will use it
-
How long it will be needed
-
Whether it will be used daily or occasionally
-
How much heating and insulation you need
-
Whether you need 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms
-
Whether the site has suitable access
-
Whether utilities can be connected
-
Whether planning or land use checks are required
If you are buying for a building project, read our guide to static caravans for self-builds. If you are comparing layouts, view our 1, 2 and 3 bedroom static caravans.
Delivery, Access and Siting
The price of a used static caravan is only one part of the buying decision. Delivery, access and siting should be considered before purchase, especially if the caravan is being placed on private land, a farm, a rural plot or a self-build site.
Before buying, check:
-
Road access to the property
-
Gateway width
-
Turning space
-
Overhead trees or cables
-
Ground conditions
-
Final siting position
-
Whether the ground is level and prepared
-
Water, electricity, gas and drainage connections
-
Whether specialist equipment may be required
SBL Caravan Centre can advise on delivery and siting before you buy, helping you avoid choosing a caravan that is unsuitable for your site.
